SmartOptics launches 10Gbps CWDM family

SmartOptics already boasts one of the industrys most comprehensive ranges of 10G Transceivers portfolios with all form factors and line rates available. We are also now delighted to launch our 10G CWDM platform allowing customers to run up to ten times 10G channels over a CWDM network. The transceivers come in a popular XFP form factor and can operate with equipment running XFP interfaces or alternatively can be used in the SmartOptics T-4900 transmission platform. Either way, customers can maximise their existing or planned CWDM investment without the need to replace it with an alternative solution. Customers can also run a combined SAN / WAN network for any mix of traffic up to 10G using a simple combination of optical transcievers plugged directly in to the switching equipment. Our Multiplexers then combine these ISLs together and transmit them between sites on a single fibre pair.
